Dean Carl Wind

Dean Carl Wind, 67, of Cass Lake, MN entered the spirit world on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in McIntosh, MN. He was born on June 17, 1944 in Cass Lake, Minnesota to Carl and Josephine (Critt) Wind.

Dean enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, going to the casino, playing softball and being with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers John and Ronald.

Dean is survived by his wife; Gloria of Cass Lake, MN, sons; Joe (Shelly) Wind of Cass Lake, MN, Rodney Headbird, Leonard Headbird, Les Headbird all of Cass Lake, MN and Aaron (Amanda) Wind also of Cass Lake, daughters; Deanna Wind of Cass Lake, MN and Kristi (John) Wind of Cass Lake, MN, brother; Donald (Karyn) Wind of Cass Lake, MN, sister; Darlene Wind of New Mexico, grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A wake service for Dean will be at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake starting Wednesday, February 1st at 4:00 p.m. and continue until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, February 3rd. also at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN. Spiritual Leader will be Allen Hardy. Pallbearers for Dean will be Pete Headbird, Donald Headbird, Jesse Headbird, Rodney Headbird, Les Headbird and Len Headbird. Alternate Pallbearers are Reggie Wind, Ivan Wind, Fabian Wind, Charlie Wind and Aaron Wind. Honorary Pallbearers for Dean are Karyn Wind, Cheryl Keezer, Deanna Wind, Diane Fineday, Kristi Wind, Marilyn Wind, Sheila Lyons, Darlene Wind and Caroline Hullett. Interment will be in Mission Cemetery following the service.
