Veterans, military personnel honored at Leech Lake Memorial Grounds

On Thursday, representatives from Grand Portage Honor Guard, Leech Lake Honor Guard, Warriors Honor Guard, White Earth Honor Guard, Cass Lake American Legion 284, Army National Guard of Bemidji, and Marine Corp of Bemidji along with the Mayor of Cass Lake Wayne LaDuke, District 3 Representative from Leech Lake Ribs Whitebird, Cass County Commissioner Dick Downham and his wife, Reno Wells from Cass County Health & Human Services, Cass County Veterans Service Officer Kathy Ramos and community members gathered at the Leech Lake Memorial Grounds for a ceremony to honor all veterans and current servicemen
