Paul Bunyan Television Adds CBS in High Definition

(Bemidji, MN) (January 3, 2012) – Paul Bunyan Communications has added CBS in high definition to PBTV HD service.

WCCO HD, Minneapolis, will be available to all PBTV HD subscribers on Paul Bunyan Television channel 504. KDLH HD, Duluth, will also be available to Paul Bunyan Television customers in Koochiching and Itasca customers on channel 503.

“We are thrilled to add CBS in high definition for our customers! It has been the most requested network to add in HD by customers but for both technical and contractual reasons it couldn’t be provided until now. The best part is the cost of PBTV HD service has and will remain the same for customers.” said Brian Bissonette, Paul Bunyan Communications Marketing Supervisor.

PBTV HD is delivered in the widescreen 16:9 format that provides a picture with a resolution over ten times that of standard television and the 4:3 format. The service can be added to PBTV service for $9.95 per month. Consumers must have standard PBTV service to subscribe to PBTV HD service. $9.95 monthly charge for PBTV HD is an equipment fee, not a programming fee. PBTV HD subscribers will receive the HD channels of the digital channels they subscribe to. Additional subscription(s) may be required to receive all HD channels available. There is a one month minimum subscription required. Service availability depends upon location and some restrictions may apply.

Paul Bunyan Television now offers over 240 all digital networks, over 45 networks in high definition, PBTV On Demand, and Digital Video Recorder (DVR) service.
