EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

RATE OF PAY: Depending upon experience

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls, MN

OPENS: December 08, 2011

CLOSES: December 22, 2011

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the general supervision of the prevailing General Manager is responsible to oversee an emergency medical need for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to respond to emergency situations and handle according to need.

• Conducts patient assessments, the primary survey and secondary survey in an emergency situation.

• Administers first aid and provides emergency care services such as bandaging, splinting, administering oxygen and doing CPR as required.

• Responsible for calling and reporting to medical personnel on arrival, the vital signs and overall injury or medical condition(s).

• Maintains good working relations with guests, hospital and ambulance services by personal contact or via telephone.

• Responsible for daily maintenance on all equipment and check lists on supplies and equipment for replacement.

• Records, maintains and submits all appropriate reports as required.

• Assists other associates with guest services.

• Responsible to remain up-to-date with emergency procedures and assist in their development and/or update as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required the Emergency Medical Technician have at least a High School Diploma or GED and applicable certifications for EMT
