U. of Louisville Basketball Star Shoni Schimmel Returns From Two Game Suspension

Shoni Schimmel‘s sophomore season got off to a rough start as the superstar point guard has had to sit in her first two games for violating a NCAA rule by playing in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament in her home state of Oregon this summer. The All-Big East Conference player played in the tournament on the Umatilla reservation where she was raised, home to the Umatilla, Cayuse and Walla Wall tribes which make up the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
