2 Redby men plead guilty in fatal shooting

Two men from Redby have pleaded guilty in a shooting that left one man dead and two wounded on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota.

Donald Leigh Clark Jr., 23, pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

Cruze Anthony White, also 23, pleaded guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter for aiding Clark.

Clark and White entered their pleas on Thursday on the day their jury trial was scheduled to begin.

The two were accusing of killing Julian Keith DeMarrias and assaulting his brother and another man on Nov. 3, 2010, on the reservation.

Clark faces a maximum penalty of life in prison. White faces up to 15 years in prison.
