Red Lake Program Specialist Position

Position Summary: Develop and maintain a quality Scouting program located in underserved communities in accordance with the Boy Scouts of America’s Mission Statement.

Time Requirement: 3 hours a week with meetings 3-4 times a month.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of quality programs to the Red Lake Cub Scout Pack

• Plan and participate in scheduled Pack meetings

• Increase awareness of Scouting in the Red Lake community

• Serve as an ambassador of Scouting that strives to deliver the mission of the program

• Help in the recruitment and support volunteers to help with meetings and activities

• Provide a well-balanced variety of Scouting activities, including day camps, Pinewood derbies, etc.
