Tribal court dismisses election appeal filed by Chad Smith

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Shortly after the Cherokee Nation Supreme Court dismissed an election appeal Wednesday filed by the former principal chief of the tribe, Chief-elect Bill John Baker's camp announced he will be immediately sworn in Wednesday evening.
