New Welcome Sign Erected at South Boundary Line on Highway 89 - P3

The new welcome sign was erected on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the South Boundary of the Red Lake Indian Reservation on Highway 89.

Designed and painted by artist Patrick Desjarlait, the sign measures 10x18 and will eventually be illuminated at night. Three other signs of the same design will be erected at other boundary areas located at the East Reservation line that travels towards Busy Corner; the West boundary line towards Fourtown, and the boundary line that travels to Clearbrook.

The older sign on the South Boundary will be removed and possibly relocated.

Ross Lewis Sign Company of Bemidji was in charge of setting up and securing the sign.
