Pete Frederick Neadeau, 67 of Red Lake, MN died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Red Lake Hospital.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN with Father Jerry Rogers officiating. A wake will begin Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Red Lake Community Center and will continue until the time of service. Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Mission Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

He was born January 23, 1944 the son of Virginia Neadeau. He was raised and educated in Red Lake, and lived there his whole life. He worked a variety of jobs including construction, logging, and as a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed helping people, and was especially talented at filleting fish for his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, going for walks, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by : Daughters, Miranda (Jim) Flute from Apache, OK, Muriel (Robin) Thunder of Red Lake, April (Darrell) Hill of Red Lake, Son, Merwin (Bonnie) Hill of Red Lake, Sisters, Rita Neadeau of Minneapolis, Beverly Neadeau of Red Lake, Thelma Bagley of Bemidji, Brother, Jack Neadeau of Red Lake, 13 Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, brother Tony Neadeau, and 3 nephews.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Jack Neadeau, Maynard Johns, Dutch Brun, Dan Hart, Kevin Hart, and Aaron Sayers.

Active Casketbearers will be Sheldon Hill, Mike Hill, Clarence Neadeau, Jeremy Hill, Keenan Sayers, Sam Hill, Kyle Cloud, and Toni Hill.
