Red Lake/New Beginnings to partner with Westaff On-Site at Polaris


The Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians announced today that it intends to partner with Westaff, part of the Select Family of Staffing ( on-site at Polaris Industries in Roseau to assist in filling employment vacancies at the Polaris plant located in Roseau, MN.

Tammy Faiola, Westaff Regional Vice President and Marvin Hanson, Executive Director agreed to conduct joint career fairs and make transportation available for those that are hired by Westaff for positions on-site at Polaris..

Tammy Faiola stated, “It is a win-win for Polaris and the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.

“This is what kind of things we need, partnerships that make our communities successful," Marvin Hanson, Executive Director of New Beginnings said. "We hope to fill as many positions as possible and we have a bus to transport 16 people on a daily basis."

Westaff on site at Polaris is looking to fill the following positions:

• 2nd Shift Assembly Operators – Hiring NOW!

o Must have GED or HS Diploma

o Must pass a background check

o Employment Drug Screening

o 3 Employment References

These are temporary positions. Associates are welcome to apply for FT Polaris positions as they are posted. Polaris makes hiring decisions based on staffing needs, performance and projected production schedules.

A job fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at New Beginnings in Redby, MN on Monday, October 3rd and Wednesday, October 5th.
