“3 Principles” Classes

(Mind, Thought, and Consciousness)

Interactive and informative classes will be held at the Tribal Behavioral Health Building adjacent to the Diabetes program. This is an educational process that explains the role of thought and how the human mind works.

The classes are open to the General Public ages 18 to 100^. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Benefits of attending:

Learning how addictive behaviors, violence, anger, grief, stress, and relationship issues occur as a result of learned habitual ways of thinking. The topic of suicide may be addressed as well.

Ronald Kingbird, Mental Health Technician of Red Lake Tribal CHS, will teach the classes.

The classes are “strictly educational and are not intended as a replacement for therapy”. However, people may find a greater understanding of how they function and in the process may access better mental health.

Classes: Wednesday evening Co-ed Classes - 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Refreshments will be available. (Childcare not available)

Classes will be every other Wednesday beginning Aug. 10th 2011 and will run through Dec 5th 2011,based upon levels of participation.
