PRECEDES PHILANTHROPY NORTHWEST ANNUAL CONFERENCE

As Native Americans in Philanthropy continues to deepen engagement with its members, partners and allies, a second round of Regional Action Network Gatherings is scheduled for the fall of 2011. This event is FREE and OPEN to all to engage in this opportunity to join NAP board members and staff as they highlight opportunities for partnership, share resources and illustrate programs available through NAP that work to advance philanthropic practices grounded in Native values and traditions.

On this stop NAP will launch our Northwest Regional Action Network through:

• Enhancing Native leadership in philanthropy,

• Sharing stories and resources in Native philanthropy,

• Assessing issues and opportunities within the region,

• Growing resources for Native led causes and concerns, and

• Honoring the philanthropic work in Native communities.

NAP will call its membership and allies to action to expand the Native philanthropic network virtually and on the ground, as well as explore future partnerships in expanding philanthropy in Indian Country.
