BABY SHEL
The name is Baby Shel. I'm from Red Lake Reservation up north Minnesota. Born in Minneapolis. Got my name from my dad--I was named after him. Everybody I know calls me Baby Shel, so I figured I'd keep it real for yall and make it my stage name also. Been rappin since I was little; started going hard on it when I was 18. Now im 21. I feel I get better with every song I make. Grew up in both Red Lake and Minneapolis. My mom and dad were split so I had a couple places to go. I've done a lot with only three years into this. I've been in Murderdog Magazine, been to the G.O.N. (Gathering of Nations) to perform, did countless shows, recorded countless songs, been grinding my ass off to get to where I need to be in life. I'm thankful for every breathe that I take and every step forward. I have two mixtapes out, YKMG Vol 1 and 2. Both locally sold...I'm currently signed with Indie label Rez Rap Records. My music group is 100 Souls.
