CORRECTION: Former Pala chairman not ousted from tribe

King Freeman, a former chairman of the Pala Band of Mission Indians, is a member of the tribe. A story published in Wednesday's edition of the North County Times incorrectly reported that he had been disenrolled. It was also incorrectly reported that Freeman has owned the Pala Store since 1968. Freeman took over the store in the mid-1970s.
