2011 Indigenous Games Banquet held in Red Lake P3

On Thursday, August 25, 2011, a banquet to honor the athletes who attended the 2011 Indigenous Games was held at the Seven Clans Casino Events Center in Red Lake.

The event featured a banquet feast, guest speaker Eugene Whitebird, and a slideshow with pictures of the games.

Those receiving awards were: Felicia Desjarlait, 16U silver medalist, basketball; Tatti McClain, 16U silver medalist, basketball; Samantha Roy, bronze medalist, softball; Rob McNeal; Serena Graves, 19U basketball; Sasha Strong, 19U girls; Trevenn Beaulieu, 16U boys; Coach Ed Strong, 16U girls; Boo Chaboyea, gold medalist 14U basketball; and Jaden Wood, going into 6th gr, gold medalist 14U boys basketball.
