CITY OF BEMIDJI 8th and Beltrami Ave closed started August 22

CITY OF BEMIDJI - the intersection of 8th St NW and Beltrami Ave NW will be closed effective Monday, August 22, 2011 at 7AM through and including September 5 for utility installation, resurfacing, curb and gutter and other updates. There will be no through traffic. Watch for detour signs and take care when driving in the area.

Highway 64 resurfacing at Badoura begins Aug. 22

BEMIDJI, Minn. -Motorists will encounter some delays on Highway 64 from the north junction of Highway 87 at Badoura to the south junction of Highway 87 as crews begin a mill and overlay project Monday, Aug. 22.

The project is approximately six miles in length and will take about one week to complete, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be provided by flaggers and a pilot car will lead motorists through the work zone

Pedestrian crossing improvement on Highway 2 in Crookston begins Aug. 22

BEMIDJI, Minn. - Work to improve the signal systems and pedestrian access to meet American with Disabilities Act requirements on Highway 2 in Crookston will begin Monday, Aug. 22.

Parking will be restricted on Highway 2 with temporary lane closures and access to some city streets will be temporarily restricted.

Highway 197 lane restrictions at Hannah Avenue in Bemidji set for Aug. 24

BEMIDJI, Minn. - Traffic will be restricted at the intersection of Highway 197/Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest and Hannah Avenue Northwest in Bemidji Aug. 24, as the Minnesota Department of Transportation replaces the center median and installs a new crosswalk.

Work is scheduled to start at 5 a.m. and be completed by 6 p.m.
