On Thursday, August 19, Dan Dudley from Red Lake YouthBuild met with U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan in Washington, D.C. to discuss issues facing rural disconnected youth.
Dan is 21 years old and a graduate of Red Lake YouthBuild, sponsored by the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians. This spring he participated in YouthBuild USA’s Council of Young Leaders conference, where he has proven his leadership skills. He is attending Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, MN.
