Belva Rose Cloud

Belva Rose Cloud, 46, of Ponemah, MN, died Monday, August 8, 2011, at the Sanford Fargo Medical Center.

Traditional Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Ponemah Community Center with spiritual leader Steve Jackson. A wake will begin on Thursday at the Ponemah Community Center and will continue until the time of the services on Saturday. Interment will be at the Family Burial Grounds under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Belva was born December 12, 1964 in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Hilma (RedEagle) and Augustine Cloud. She was raised and educated in Red Lake and attended chef school. She worked at various jobs; a CNA at the Jourdain-Perpich Extended Care Facility, cashier at the Ponemah Market, and a sub at the Ponemah Elementary School. She loved baking, and watching game shows on TV. She also enjoyed going to casino with her companion and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her companion of 29 years Harold Raincloud, Sr. of Ponemah Sons- Harold Raincloud, Jr. and Daniel (Brandi) Raincloud both of Ponemah Daughter- Jerri Raincloud of Ponemah 2 grandchildren Isaac and Braylon Raincloud of Ponemah a sister- Alfreda (Cloud) Leechman of Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother- Ron Cloud, Sr. sister- Cheryl Cloud, uncles- Benjamin and Samuel RedEagle and auntie- Maryjane Cloud.

Honorary Casketbearers will be her nieces, nephews and family. Active Casketbearers are Gerard Cloud, Curtis Cloud, Sr., Wendell Spears, Eldon Cloud, Alvin Johnson, Jr., Trevor Johnson, with alternates Ron Cloud, Jr., and Robert Raincloud.
