Paul Bunyan Communications presents the 6th Annual Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival August 4-6

Paul Bunyan Communications is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the 6th Annual Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival August 4-6 in Bemidji. The event is organized by the Bemidji Rotary Club and Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce and the festival grounds are open Thursday through Saturday. Over 70 teams will be competing in this year’sraces on Saturday, which start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude around 4:30 p.m. There will be great entertainment all weekend long in the Dragon’s Den, free of charge! Thursday will feature the first ever Dragon Boat Festival Cornhole Tournament to benefit cancer research along with Mix 103.7’s retro 80’s show, Friday Power Play performs, and Saturday the festival concludes with Fuse.

5th Annual Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat FestivalYour cooperative is involved with all phases of the event again this year, including Chief Operating Officer Gary Johnson serving as chair of the entire festival, Marketing Supervisor Brian Bissonette serving as the Festival Announcer, and Paul Bunyan Communications will have employees racing on teams.
