Bemidji to close streets for tree removal

The City of Bemidji Parks Department will take down several trees on Fifth Street between 6 and 9 a.m. Thursday, July 21.

The trees are marked with orange rings. For safety reasons, Fifth Street Northwest between Irvine Ave and Mississippi Ave Northwest will be closed during this time to remove the trees. When that is completed, the crews will move to the next block and Fifth Street Northwest between Irvine and America will be closed to remove the remaining trees.
