Red Lake fugitive captured without incident Thursday

U.S. Fugitive Recovery & Extradition agents reported Friday that their apprehended Derek John White, 31, of Redby, at 8:15 p.m. Thursday one-half mile south of the Red lake Nation border on Irvine Avenue Northwest.

The agents spotted White, who was known to have several felony warrants out against him. The reported they made the arrest without incident. White was taken to the Beltrami County Jail where he is being held on warrants for felony third-degree controlled substance crime, felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime, concealed weapons and DWI.
