Knights Win Big Over Short-handed RLYB

In Tuesday night Bemidji Youth Baseball action, the undefeated Knights of Columbus gave a short-handed Red Lake team it’s most lobsided loss of the season, 22-4, putting Red Lake at 1-11 on the season.

Though RLYB kept it close early, the Knights poured it on late to pull away. Red Lake’s offense was led by Aaron English who singled, walked and scored a run and Pat Tahahwah, Jr. added a double while striking out 7 batters in three innings as the starting pitcher.

Red Lake will look for its second win of the season next Tuesday against a tough Team Subway who is led by Red Laker Kaleb “KP” Pemberton. RLYB and Team Subway provided the most exciting game of the season in their last matchup, which saw Tahahwah bring in Austin May with an RBI double in the bottom of the 6th inning.
