Kandace Blaine Dunn

Kandace Blaine Dunn, (“Gaa Gii Ge Ikwe”- Forever Woman with namesake Caroline Wind), 22 of Cass Lake, MN died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at her home.

Traditional Funeral Services will be at 12:00 pm. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN. A wake will begin at noon on Monday, July 4, 2011 and continue until the time of the service. Interment will be at the Morgan cemetery in Cass Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

She was born February 19, 1989 in Bemidji, MN. She attended Cass Lake Elementary and graduated from the Youth Build in Bemidji. She was in the process of completing the EMT program which she was looking forward to becoming. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, attending pow-wows but most of all she loved being with her children and family.

She is survived by 2 children: Analise (3 years old) and Rashawn (5 months old) Mother: Mona (Kyle) Dunn of Green Bay, WI Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Josephine Dunn and Richard John Dunn, great grandmother Daisy Blaine Woods and great great grandfather John Dunn, Sr.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Aundria Dunn, Rainna Dunn, RaeAnne Dunn, Dora Fairbanks, Onawa Dunn and Cheryl “Tato” LaRose.

Active Casketbearers will be Shane Dunn, Eldon Dunn, Kyle Dunn, Dustin Fairbanks, Bradley Dunn and Adrian Dunn.
