Red Lake School Board Selects Five Finalists to Interview for Superintendent Vacancy


RED LAKE – The School Board of the Red Lake Public School District has selected five finalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent vacancy.

Finalists were selected from a pool of 13 applicants based on criteria established by the School Board. The finalists are: Kevin Abrahamson, Curriculum Coordinator and Principal, St. Louis County Schools; William Higgins, Superintendent, Tuba City Unified School District; Melinda Jezierski, Curriculum Director, West Central Education District; James Murphy, former Principal, Shakopee High School; and Steve Wymore, Superintendent, Lake of the Woods Community Schools.

The School Board has set a schedule for interviewing the finalists for its superintendent search. The interviews will be held on July 11, 2011. All interviews will be held in the Red Lake High School Culture Room at Red Lake.
