Meet the Artist

As part of their 2011 monthly Featured Artist program the Blank Canvas Gallery and Education Center in Park Rapids will host a reception for Janine Merrick, Featured Artist of the month on Friday, July 1, 4:00-6:00 PM.

Plan to enjoy refreshments and mingle with Janine and other artist members at the gallery, 311 Main Ave. S. in downtown Park Rapids.

The subjects and styles of Janine’s artwork are varied, reflecting the Minnesota and Arizona areas where she lives and maintains studios. See a selection of her drawings and paintings. Find out what her inspiration is and how her lifelong experiences as an artist and teacher have influenced her work. She will be showing a number of new works in her selection being displayed in the gallery in July.
