Native American Law School Admissions Workshop

Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) – August 5-7, 2011

Program Dates (August 5-7, 2011): The Native American Law School Admissions Workshop will be held at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) from August 5-7 (Friday-Sunday). The program is 3 days long. Students are required to participate for the entire program, late arrivals or early departures are not allowed – please plan accordingly and receive the appropriate permission for work, internship, or academic leave.

Deadline: Applications are to be received by July 1, 2011. Applications might be accepted until July 15th (on a space available basis); please contact the office after July 1st to find out if spaces are open.

Application Parts: A completed application consists of the following:

· Student Application with short answer and personal essay

· Resume or CV

· Academic Transcripts (copy of unofficial transcript is acceptable

· LSAT Practice test score or previous LSAT test score

Cost of Program & Airfare: There are no costs for this program. The program will cover your tuition, room, meals, and all materials.

Students are also responsible for their own transportation to the host campus, either flying or driving.

Eligibility: To be eligible, each student must,

· Have a demonstrated interest in Indian Law or advocating for Native communities.

· Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.

· Submit a completed application packet by the established deadlines.

· Have decided to apply to law school. Participants can be current college students, recent college graduates, or students preparing to apply to law school.
