Jessica Ann Briseno Hernandez, 28, of Anoka, formerly of Cass Lake, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in Woodbury, Minn.

A wake service for Jessica will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, June 17, and continue until the 11 a.m. service, Sunday, June 19, all at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake. Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker handled the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Adan Munoz Hernandez, Felix Loy Briseno, Jr., David John Kangas, Anthony David Kangas, Alejandro Vega and James Charles Kangas.

She was born December 8, 1982, to Felix Briseno, Sr. and Mary (Kangas) Briseno, in Bemidji. She was a full-time mother who enjoyed spending time with her kids and being around her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Adan Munoz Hernandez of Anoka; children, Jose, Avel, Rosario and Chanel Briseno Hernandez, all of Anoka; parents; sister, Melissa (Alejandro) Briseno of Cass Lake; brothers, Felix (Andrea) Briseno, Jr. of Montgomery, Minn., and Joshua Briseno of St. Paul, Minn .; and aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beulah and Matthew Kangas.
