Beltrami County: New Permanent Prescription Drug Drop Off Point

The Paul Bunyan Task Force announced today, June 16, 2011, that a permanent

drop off box has been established in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center, 613 Minnesota Ave NW, Bemidji, MN (corner of 6th St NW and Minnesota Ave NW).

Citizens are welcome to drop off expired prescriptions or narcotics, however there are restrictions.

- No liquids will be accepted

-All drugs must be in zip lock bags NOT the original container they came in

-Absolutely NO SHARPS

The new drop off box is clearly marked with a red sign that says PRESCRIPTION DRUG DROP OFF and is located to your left when you come into the lobby, and directly under a small shelf. Simply insert the zip lock into the tamper proof entry of the box. This service is available 24/7 no questions asked.
