Informational Meeting for Property Owners in Washish, Kelliher and Upper Red Lake Areas

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management, Beltrami County Environmental Services and the DNR have received several calls from citizens in the Waskish/Kelliher and Upper Red Lake area regarding damage from winds and high water causing erosion to private property, specifically shorelines. To address this issue, representatives from Beltrami County, DNR, the Army Corp of Engineers and Waskish Township will be on hand to answer questions or provide information to the affected property owners from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the West Wind Resort (in the main lodge). The West Wind is located at 54719 Hwy 72 NE at Waskish on the west side of the road. Go to the main log building.
