Federal judge says man accused of killing NM nun competent to stand trial

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man accused of beating a nun to death with a flashlight on the Navajo Indian reservation in northwestern New Mexico is competent to stand trial, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.
