Imagination Soars

Blank Canvas Gallery and Education Center in Park Rapids, a Minnesota nonprofit art organization, is offering Imagination Soars - a Creative Art Camp for kids, ages 6 - 12, on June 20th, 22nd & 24th. Class time each day is from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The three day art camp will be held at Century Middle School, 501 Helten Ave. in Park Rapids.

In this kids' summer workshop students will explore a variety of mediums while developing their own personal artistic expression. Students will be introduced to the elements of art and create two- and three-dimensional projects. Drawing, printmaking and wire sculpture will be the primary instructional experiences. Students will learn to critique their own work and select work for the youth art show.

All art supplies will be provided for this learning experience.

This activity is made possible, in part, by a grant provided by Region 2 Arts Council through funding from the Minnesota State Legislature.

Class size is limited to 10 students - Registration deadline is June 15th.
