FEMA Appicant Briefings - June 9, 2011 0900 hrs - Beltrami County

To our towns, township and county officials:

As promised, FEMA will be returning to Bemidji to conduct applicant briefings on Thursday, June 9, 2011. This meeting will be conducted at our EOC/Training Room located at the northwest corner of the Law Enforcement Center at 613 Minnesota Ave NW in Bemidji. Parking is available in front of the County Administration Building at 701 Minnesota Ave NW.

It is important that all of the entities who reported damage and met with FEMA earlier this spring to report to this meeting with documents, pay stubs, receipts and other information as proof of expenses. FEMA will be here at least three hours. Please be in attendance anytime between 9 AM and noon.

Township board meetings will be coming up shortly so please pass this on to all of your board members and assure that you have representatives available.

We salute the many hours or work and effort all of our road authorities have spent keeping the roads safe. The rain continues to cause problems so we urge the public to use extreme caution, especially in areas where there are soft roadways subject to more damage.
