City of Bemidji road construction projects starting Tuesday May 24 2011 - 3rd/Minnesota and 7th/Minnesota

The City of Bemidji will be starting two new intersection street maintenance projects on Tuesday May 24, 2011 at 7

AM.

The intersections are as follows:

3rd St NW and Minnesota Ave NW

7th St NW and Minnesota Ave NW

Removal and replacement of storm sewer utilities and bituminous surfaces in the intersections will take place. Work should be completed within two weeks depending on the weather.

The intersections will be closed from 7AM - 7PM daily but open to traffic in the late afternoon and through the night. Questions should be directed to 333-1852.

Beltrami County ROAD CLOSURE- Battle River Rd NE (Co Rd 38) from Shiloh Dr NE to east one mile - ABSOLUTELY NO TRAVEL

Closed today due to extreme frost heaves that have caused major damage to the roadway, is Battle River Rd NE (Co Rd 38) from Shiloh Rd NE to one mile east of Shiloh Rd NE (or 2 miles west of the Kelliher Rd NE (Co Rd 36) and 2 ¼ miles east of Cormant Rd NE. There are no residences on this stretch of road, however detours to get to either end will be off of the above listed roadsy.
