Local Musician, Singer, Songwriter; Shares His Talent with Elderly

Bemidji, Minn. (May 11, 2011) - In Bemidji if you mention, Kent Dudley, you most often hear some chatter about his musical talent or his ministry with the elderly, bereaved, and he and his wife, Shantel's, big hearts as they grow an even larger family through adoption of children with special needs. For years people who've experienced his ministry in one shape or form have asked him to get his songs onto a CD.

"Well", he says, "I've finally done it". "This project has been 25 years in the making, I started writing songs after I got saved, and the music began to flow from me onto the paper.

Most of the songs are about my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The changes He has made in my life are undeniable.

3 songs on this CD are written about my family. I have written a song to my beautiful wife Shantel, "He Gave Me A Friend" she is my best friend, my helpmate, and a wonderful example of a Proverbs 31 woman. I couldn't have done this without her.

I also wrote a song about my oldest son, Ryan. He was born with special needs, who would have guessed that 25 years ago when I wrote "Come Unto Me" about him, that he would be drumming at the studio with me on his song! He is such a blessing to me and to the many lives he has touched while out ministering with me in music.

"Heavenly Mosiac" was the last song I wrote, it is about our blended family. I have 3 children, my wife has 4, and we have adopted 4. That makes 11, and who says were done! Our adopted children are all medically fragile, special

needs children from the U.S. foster care system and they truly are a blessing to this family, and we are a much better family by having them. Broken lives blended together with the Father's love, proving that we are all able to be used if we surrender to His will."

GoldPine Home is hosting Kent Dudley's concert/ CD signing for residents and family on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2pm. CD price is $10.00
