POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer; The General Manager is responsible to oversee all operational activities for Seven Clans Casinos, Red Lake

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for efficient and profitable operation of assigned departments including: games, personnel, and customer satisfaction of the Table Games, Slots, F & B, Hotel, Security and General Maintenance departments.

 Ensures accurate processing and recording of data in accordance with established policies and procedures.

 Oversees management, internal controls, policies and procedures; makes recommendations as appropriate and necessary.

 Coordinates with affected departments to ensure consistency and conformance is maintained.

 Analyzes current business plans, marketing, advertising, staffing and overall business operations to identify problems, ensure smooth operations and make recommendations for improvement.

 Handles problems or grievances (customers and/or employees) as soon as the need arises.

 Serves as the property manager, with overall responsibility for operations.

 Responsible for accomplishing the budget and financial objectives of the casino, including EBIDTA earnings objectives on a monthly and annual basis.

 Coordinates and communicates with incoming and outgoing manager on duty to ensure communication efforts are effective.

 Responsible to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and maintained.

 Analyzes and recognizes deficiencies or problem areas and provides solutions to achieve desired results.

 Participates in the review of associates and completes necessary paperwork as required by established policies and procedures. Maintains training program for departmental new hires.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required the General Manager – Casino have at least a two year vocational degree and extensive Casino Management experience preferred.
