Brenan Stately Obituary

Brenan James Stately, 15, of Red Lake, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, in Red Lake.

A wake will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, at the Red Lake Community Center. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the St. Mary’s Mission Catholic Church in Red Lake, with the Rev. Jerry Rogers officiating. Burial following cremation will be in the St. Mary’s Mission Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Active pallbearers will be: Matthew White, Bryan Schoenborn, Anthony White, Adrian Brown, Darren King, and Jerick Neadeau. Alternate pallbearer will be Trevor Schoenborn.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Lydell Neadeau, Delwyn Smith, Eric Neadeau Jr., Matt Dudley, Pebbles Jourdain, Tuesday Jourdain, Josh Stately, Steve May, Hinton Jones, Larry Norquay Jr., and Brandon Stately.

He was born on February 1, 1996, to Randi Jo White and James D. Stately in Bemidji. He grew up in Red Lake and lived there all his life. He attended the Red Lake Head Start; St. Mary’s Mission School in Red Lake, and was in the 8th grade at the Red Lake Middle School. He was helpful, a good worker and good at building things.

He loved outdoor sports, listening to music, playing video games, playing with friends and learning about the world by watching the Biography, History and Discovery channels.

He is survived by his mother; his father; sisters, Marissa Stately and Aerial Dudley of Red Lake; brother, Jarin Stately of Red Lake; special niece, Xaelia White of Red Lake; maternal grandmother, Patricia White of Red Lake; paternal grandfather, Roman “Ducker” (Ginger) Stately of Red Lake; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, grandmother, and three uncles.
