Red Lake School District #38 holds first of two Informational Meetings in Ponemah

The Red Lake School District held the first of two Information Meetings on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Ponemah School. A similar meeting will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Red Lake Elementary School Cafeteria, starting at 6:30 PM.

Topics of the meeting included the 8-day Summer Academy, the 2011-12 School Calendar, School Improvement Plans, New School Status Plans, the introduction of Mary Trapp--the new Ponemah Elementary School Principal, and the ongoing Superintendent Search Process.

Current Superintendent Brent Gish will retire in June of this year.
