Calling artists and crafters

There are a limited number of spaces available for people to display their arts and crafts in a unique setting at the Lady's Slipper Celebration, Blackduck segment, Saturday, June 25. Nature-related arts/crafts are preferred, either depicting nature or using natural materials. Participants will be hosted in downtown or Wayside Rest area businesses or buildings, and will be featured in the "Art Around Town" art walk portion of the festival. The hours will be 10 - 4. On the day of the tour, maps will be available at the Wayside Rest Festival Information Center and at one or two sites downtown.

We will try to match artists to an appropriate site for the type of display. You will need to bring your own display tables and stands, although tables might be available at some sites. Parking and access for setting up and taking down should be convenient. In most cases setup will be 9 am Saturday but in some locations Friday afternoon/evening setup might be available. Artists will need to stay with the display at all times during the event.

Cost for registration will be $15, payable within 10 days after registering by phone. Please contact Shirley, 218-835-7826 or Jeff, 218-835-4319 for more information.
