The City of Bemidji, MN is seeking to commission a permanent statue of exceptional quality of Chief Bemidji to be placed in a public park overlooking Lake Bemidji. The statue project is open to artists, or artist teams, age 18 and over, who can demonstrate their knowledge of, and experience with Anishinaabe culture and history.

Deadline for submission is July 1, 2011. The complete RFQ can be viewed at: http://www.ci.bemidji.mn.us. For questions about the RFQ email Sandy Kaul at mskaul@midco.net.
