Frances Rock

Frances Rock, 87, Ponsford, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Ponsford with the Rev. Walter Butor, O.M.I., officiating. Friends may call at the Old Pine Point School from 4 p.m. Friday until

the time of the mass. Burial will be in St. Theodore’s Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Mable Bellanger of Ponsford, Paulette Rock, Stephanie Rock, Theresa Rock and Pamela Rivera, all of Minneapolis; adopted daughter, Jeanetta Jones of Minneapolis; sons, Samuel Rock, Francis Rock Jr. and William Rock, all of Minneapolis; adopted sons, Duane Axdahl of Ponsford and David Axdahl of White Earth; 99 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Beckett of Cass Lake; and brother, Samuel Jones Jr. of Cass Lake.
