    THIEF RIVER FALLS - Last Years NCTC Champions, the Red Lake Lady Warriors struggled in their semi-final match with Sacred Heart on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, and only hit 17 of 71 baskets for 23% from the field, as Sacred Heart advanced with their 68-58 win. Sacred Heart will play Clearbrook-Gonvick on Thursday for the Championship. Red Lake will play Stephen-Argyle on Thursday for 3rd Place. The Lady Warriors were in a tie at 2-2 in the first quarter, but never had the lead in the game....

    The fundraising for the Toys for Tots Challenge has come to an end. We turned in $5340.00 today, wasn't able to reach our goal from last year but we almost made it. Thank you to everyone who bought, donated and volunteered with the sales, these funds will help with gifts for the children in all districts of the reservation.     BEMIDJI-A warrant was issued Monday for a Cass Lake man convicted of kidnapping a woman from a Bemidji residence and fleeing sheriff's deputies in August. Sam Goggleye, 39, was convicted Nov. 2 of felony kidnapping and fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and misdemeanor fleeing by means other than a motor vehicle.
