  • Ponemah man sentenced for stabbing another man

    MINNEAPOLIS—Today in federal court, a 22-year-old man from the Red Lake Indian Reservation community of Ponemah was sentenced for stabbing another man while on the Reservation. United States District Judge Richard H. Kyle sentenced Randall Dean Jones to 41 months in federal prison on one count of assault with a dangerous weapon. Jones, who was indicted on March 20, 2012, pleaded guilty on May 17, 2012.
