BEMIDJI-Search teams looking for two fishermen missing on Lower Red Lake on Thursday found foot imprints on the lake bottom and a shoe they believe belongs to one of the fishermen. WASKISH, MN--The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office is warning the public stay off Upper Red Lake. Anyone attempting to go onto the ice does so at their own risk. ST. CLOUD, Minn. — A central Minnesota woman has been sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison for killing her 66-year-old father. Forty-year-old Lisa May Kearney of St. Cloud was sentenced Thursday after earlier pleading guilty to second-degree murder. Three members of a Minneapolis gang were charged federally in a drug-trafficking conspiracy Thursday. Charged were Domonick Deshay “Freaky” Wright, 29, of Brooklyn Center; Brian Funtanous “B-Mack” Mack, 32, of Minneapolis; and Hakeem Malik Dontae “Keem” Flax, 31, of Vandais Heights. Another woman is accusing Sen. Al Franken of groping, telling CNN that he touched her breast while the two were photographed during a 2003 USO tour in Kuwait. HONOLULU — Jim Nabors, the shy Alabamian whose down-home comedy made him a TV star as Gomer Pyle and whose surprisingly operatic voice kept him a favorite in Las Vegas and other showplaces, died Thursday. He was 87. Maxim Kenneth Rhone acted strangely in the weeks leading up to her arrest for the murder of Gerald Montantes in the fall of 2016, prosecutors say.
