BEMIDJI—A Ponemah man was convicted Thursday in federal court of aggravated sexual abuse from a March incident on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. Dana Lee Cobenais, 23, was convicted after a three-day trial before Senior U.S. District Judge Richard Kyle, according to a release from the St. Paul office of U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger. This is the last weekend of the 2015 Minnesota rifle deer season, which ends at sunset on Sunday. The first two weekends of the season were unseasonably warm, but this weekend should be much more like what hunters are used to from past deer seasons. Deer harvest numbers were up early in the season. ST. PAUL, Minn.—A new rule in the Affordable Care Act will allow Medicare to “experiment” on the nation’s senior citizens by forcing bundled care payments for some hospitals and doctors.
