BEMIDJI -- Two women were injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving a semitrailer carrying logs just west of Bemidji. A 70-year-old Bemidji woman and a 61-year-old Indiana woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries after the semitrailer, which was traveling west on U.S. Highway 2 at about mile marker 109, turned north at Hart Lane Northwest at about 3:13 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. MOORHEAD – The cause of death of a Clay County inmate last week has not yet been determined, Sheriff Bill Bergquist said Tuesday, Nov. 8. Bergquist said a preliminary autopsy has been completed on 19-year-old Abby Lee Rudolph of Fargo. BISMARCK — Staff from the North Dakota Public Service Commission have proposed a $15,000 fine for Dakota Access LLC for potential permit violations after the company failed to notify the commission about cultural artifacts discovered in the route. Minneapolis voters decided Tuesday to allocate more money to their school district at a time when fewer districts in Minnesota were asking taxpayers for help.
