    Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor in Monday’s fatal accident near Bemidji, the Beltrami County sheriff said Wednesday afternoon.   • Fatal crash investigation continues with reconstruction

    The investigation into Monday’s fatal crash near Bemidji continued Tuesday as investigators reconstructed the scene and conducted interviews with those involved. Minnesota State Patrol troopers met with a Beltrami County sergeant Tuesday as they mapped out the scene and reconstructed the crash site, Beltrami County Sheriff Phil Hodapp said Tuesday. Interviews were conducted locally and in Fargo, N.D., with those who survived and witnessed the crash, he said. The collection will continue.
