On October 4th, 2014 at 6:08 AM, the Bemidji Police Department, along with members of Bemidji Ambulance, responded to a “possibly” deceased person in the 500 Block area of Paul Bunyan Drive S. Upon arrival, emergency personnel determined an adult female was deceased. Her remains were transported to Sanford Health in Bemidji for examination. This event featured basketball tournaments, skate board competitions, volleyball tournaments, a tug-of-war competition, potato dance, face painting, big foot races, musical chairms, cake walk, gunny sack races, a dunk tank, tricycle races and more. A feast also took place in the afternoon. It was well attended and a lot of fun for both kids and adults....
