She began her career after former Postmaster Claude Beaulieu retired in 1985. A new Postmaster has already been assigned to Redby. On her last day Judy Lussier donated a cake from the Redby One Stop as a token from the community for her years of service. Bridget was much appreciated, and she will be missed....

This event featured basketball tournaments, skate board competitions, volleyball tournaments, a tug-of-war competition, potato dance, face painting, big foot races, musical chairms, cake walk, gunny sack races, a dunk tank, tricycle races and more. A feast also took place in the afternoon. It was well attended and a lot of fun for both kids and adults....
