The Red Lake Nation held its 1st Annual Fall Fun Festival on Saturday afternoon, September 28, 2014, in Red Lake. This event featured basketball tournaments, skate board competitions, volleyball tournaments, a tug-of-war competition, potato dance, face painting, big foot races, musical chairms, cake walk, gunny sack races, a dunk tank, tricycle races and more. A feast also took place in the afternoon. It was well attended and a lot of fun for both kids and adults....

On Wednesday, September 18, 2014, the Red Lake Warrior JV team hosted Laporte. The Warriors drew first blood immediately, Laporte answered in their first drive, with Red Lake coming right back with a TD run by Michael Seki Jr. Seki would continue to score, ending the afternoon with 5 touchdowns. Another nice play was a 40 yard TD pass to Justin Barrett from Kendell Whitefeather in the 4th quarter. The JV team won last week 30-6 in Kelliher.
