The Bemidji Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating a local artist's sculpture that was stolen from the corner of Beltrami Ave and 6th Street NW. The sculpture, Cosmic Spheres, created by Roger Loyson, is part of Bemidji's Sculpture Walk. The sculpture was discovered damaged on Saturday, September 29th at 2:18 AM by the Bemidji Police Department. WALKER – A Cass Lake man was ordered Monday to serve 11 years in prison after a jury convicted him for three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Richard Leslie Larson, 50, appeared Monday in Cass County District Court, where he also was ordered 10 years of conditional release following his prison sentence.
